Once again, Mouton's Salon is sponsoring the fourth annual Sunset Concert Series of Grapevine, every Saturday night in October. Each week will feature a different musical act. This week features the Lone Star Jazz Orchestra. A real crowd favorite. This is Big Band at its best! The swingingest 15 piece band in the land with a traditional Big Band sound. This band plays hits from the 40's and 50's such as; In the Mood, Little Brown Jug, Satin Doll, Sing, Sing, Sing, Fly Me to the Moon, and many, many more. If you like Glen Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Woody Herman, Stan Kenton and Count Basie, you will love the Lone Star Jazz Orchestra. Even if you're not a big band fan, you've got to love the idea of an early fall evening, listening to music on a blanket on the lawn of the Grapevine Botanical Gardens, while sipping your favorite beverage or enjoying some popcorn and snacks.
