4th Annual Mouton's Salon In-Salon Photo Shoot

So many people to thank for an excellent photo shoot yesterday at the salon. As you can tell from the title of this post, this was our 4th annual in-salon shoot. As many of you know, we have been doing photo shoots around the country - LA, NY, Miami, and around the world - Milan, Paris, London, for many years. Four years ago, we decided to start doing one shoot a year at our home base. The results have been spectacular, with our home base shoots being published as much as our location shoots have been. This year will prove to be no exception. Big, big thanks to all of our team who took the opportunity and had the time to take a Sunday (our day off!) and show up and generate some fabulous looks.

My MOM Rocks Contest!

Thanks for all the great entries sent in for our Mother's Day Contest. We had such a hard time choosing just one winner, that we chose 8 MOM's from all our entries. Congratulations to Sheryl Britt, Diane Lillie, Julianne Wilson, Lynne Pompetti, Wonaka Williams, Beverly Campisi, Janet Wells and one other Mom. Congratulations ladies - Happy Mother's Day!

Cross Timbers Job Shadow

This was our 2nd year to host Cross Timbers Middle School. We had 2 8th grade students spend the day with us, to get a feel for salon life. They did a wonderful job, and we hope they had as much fun as we did. Thanks Ambren and Laura!

Another Honor

We celebrated Erin Joseph's anniversary this month as well. She has been with our team for 3 years. Erin is a Front Desk Coordinator, Project Manager, and Computer Fixer :) Erin coordinates our Photo Shoots each year, and our Company Picnics. In her off time she enjoys cooking! And, she is originally from Chicago! We are honored to have her on our team! Thanks for all that you do for us!

Honorable Mention

We would like to take this opportunity to honor Robert Herrera for starting his 12th year at Mouton's Salon! Robert has a Bachelor's Degree from the School of Architecture at UT of Arlington. For his trade, he has studied at Martin Parson's Academy in Canada, LLongueras Institute of Spain, and Vidal Sassoon Academy in California. Outside of the salon he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Jessica, playing on his hockey team, cycling and working out, and being healthy! His favorite part of being a designer? It may sound cheesy, but he truly enjoys being the best part of someone's day, and making woman feel beautiful.

Thanks Robert for all that you add to our team! You truly are inspiration to us, and we wouldn't be who we are without you!
